Continuing Education Course and Workshop Policies
ADA:
In keeping with the goals of the American Disabilities Act (ADA), which guarantees equal and full access to employment and public services for people with disabilities. Barn and Soul LLC is committed to ensuring that courses are accessible to the broadest range of people with disabilities. Barn and Soul LLC does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in its services, programs, or activities. Upon request, Barn and Soul LLC will make its best effort to provide reasonable accommodations to allow individuals with disabilities to participate in all services, programs, and activities. Please note that in-person courses are held in various locations and accommodations are dependent on the space in which the class is held. We do our best to rent spaces that can accommodate the broadest range of people. Please contact us ahead of purchasing a course to ensure the location fits your needs.
Virtual content design considerations allow for easy viewing and clear understanding of presented information. These design elements, along with others, are considered when creating virtual content:
– Font size, style and color
– Foreground and background colors provide sufficient contrast
-Optional closed captions on recorded content and one on one virtual conversations through google meet. We do our best to ensure the captions are accurate, though they are automatically generated and may contain some mistakes. If any oddities are noticed, please bring it to our attention.
Cancellation:
Parties are eligible for a 100% refund if canceled 30 days prior to the scheduled course, 25% refund within 30 days of the course, and no refunds will be issued 2 days prior to the scheduled class.
In the event of a cancellation of a group booking, the group may cancel 30 days prior to the course for a full refund. 50% refund for cancellations 2 weeks prior to scheduled courses. No refund within 2 weeks before the event. No refunds, price adjustments, or certificates are issued to individuals from the group members that do not attend the course.
In the event Barn and Soul LLC must cancel, parties can opt to receive a full refund or select another course/date.
Grievance:
Barn and Soul LLC seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to make every attempt to resolve grievances in a fair manner. Please submit a written grievance to Jessi Osborn at BarnandSoul@gmail.com. Grievances will initially be directed to the training instructor. Grievances would receive, to the best of our ability, corrective action in order to prevent further problems.
Registration:
All course registration is done directly through the website with individual course links. Registrants must agree to Barn and Soul LLC course policies and pay accompanying fees in order to complete course registration.
Conflict of Interest:
There is no known conflict of interest for this program.
